Leaves at the Park

This is our first actual fall! We have never lived through an actual season change, being from Arizona. We are loving all of the beautiful colors, and even more, all of the leaves. When we went to our park day, the workman had left these huge piles of leaves all over, and the kids had a blast!! They never even played on the actual play ground.

First Snow

That's right. . . it snowed! I can't believe it, but we are excited none the less, and can't wait to play in it. I guess we need to get some snow gear!

Pumpkin Patch

My friend Mandy organized a field trip for a bunch of us to go to a local pumpkin patch. The kids always have so much fun being together. We went through a corn maze, saw lots of farm animals, feed some goats, played on some big wooden pumpkins, ate lunch and played some more on the play ground, picked out a pumpkin to take home, and then everyone took great naps! It was a great outing and a beautiful day. Thanks Mandy!

Emma's Baby Shower

My friend Emma is having her 3rd child, but it is her 1st girl. So we threw her a baby shower to help her get ready for her sweet little one, whom she is naming Kate.(Great name right!) Here are a few pictures from the shower. It was a late night shower, so that all the husbands would be home from school to watch the little ones. We had lots of yummy treats, a milk bar, and some really fun baby games. We had a lot of fun planning, and even more fun attending. Emma got some really cute things, and I hope feels a little more prepared.

Kate's Birthday

Our sweet little Kate turned 1 today! The year has flown by and I can't believe my baby is 1. Kate is such a fun little girl. She loves to follow Rylee and Tyse around and be a part of whatever they are doing. She loves to go outside, she loves the swings, but most of all, she loves to eat. Whenever we go to the park, she wonders around to all of my friends blankets and eats what ever food she can find. She has been known to take a chip right out of ones hand. Kate also loves music. She loves to sing songs and dance whenever she hears a beat, even in church. For her birthday, we went to the park with some of our friends. We then went home and took a little nap, and then had a few people over for cupcakes and snacks. Kate we love you and are so glad that you came to our family when you did. You can always make us smile. We can't wait to watch you grow and see what you will do and learn next!! Happy Birthday

Dinosaur Museum

My friends and I took our kids to the BYU Museum of Paleontology. We have never been to a dinosaur museum before, and my kids loved it. We had fun exploring with our friends, and then went to the park to have lunch. A great day!

The Crew

My family got together for our 1st ever Robert Kempton Family Reunion. We went to Heber and spent an awesome five days with just my siblings and their kids. We crammed so much in a short time. Unfortunately not all of the siblings could make it, but it was still fun for the rest of us to be together. It was perfect timing, with my parents leaving to Ukraine in a few short weeks, to get to be together. The weather couldn't have been better. We had card tournaments, obstacle courses, outings, picnics, a talent show and so much more. This will be a fun new tradition. Can't wait for the next one!

We made it!!

After a very long, long, long drive here, we finally made it. A HUGE thanks to Dad and Mom for helping us drive all of our stuff.

We are excited to get unpacked and get settled in our new home.
