Halloween Day

I think that Rylee has just lived the best day of her life, so far. Saying she LoVEd Halloween would be an understatement!!! Here is how our night went. We got her and Tyse all ready to go, practiced saying Trick or Treat, followed by Thank you, and we were off. We walked up to the first house rang the door bell. . .she said the magic words. . . and they gave her a piece of candy. She looked in her bucket and then gave a disgusted, quiet thank you. She then turned to Scott and said,"But dad I wanted lots of candy." We then explained the whole door to door process and after about the third house, she turned to us and said," Lets go to lots of houses!!", and was off running. We went street after street, and she walked the whole way carrying her bucket, even when it got heavy, never complaining once. Scott decided we had reached the last street when we notice older kids already home, showered and ready for bed handing out the candy to our two year old who was still up and out trick or treating. Rylee got way more candy then we know what to do with. It was a really great night, and we can't wait for next year to have two eager trick or treaters!! Rylee and I decided to made a special Halloween lunch, green macaroni and cheese, and orange milk! MMmmmm (food coloring can be so entertaining)

Rylee was very specific on the costumes that she and Tyse were suppose to wear. Rylee a flower and Tyse a bumble bee. We have no idea where she got the whole idea, but it worked out well and was pretty easy for the most part. When people would ask Rylee what kind of flower she was she would say, "A beautiful pink one!"
