Field Trip

Rylee and I got to go with her school class on a field trip to Mother Natures Farm. It was fun to have some Mommy Rylee time, where I was able to focus on just her. My mom watched Tyse and Kate so I could go. It was a really nice treat!

The kids all got to decorate a pumpkin, and then they left it under a tree with all of their classmates pumpkins, while we finished our field trip. Rylee didn't like leaving her pumpkin behind. She was constantly asking about it and kept checking on it. It was really cute!

There was a little boy at the mall who kept following Rylee around yelling at her. She kept complaining about him, and I told her to just stay away from him and ignore it. When he didn't stop I started paying attention to what he was yelling. I called Rylee over and explained that the boy liked her and wanted to play. He was calling her a beautiful princess!

R: Well mom, I dont like to be a princess when they talk to me like a tiger!
. . . she has a point!

R: This is what I do! (If you have spent any time with Scott, you would know that this phrase comes directly from his daily vocabulary)

M: Why do you need money?
R: Because I am not big enough to go to work!

Scott was trying to talk to Rylee at the grocery store in hopes of correcting her behavior. Rylee suddenly turned to him and said, "Who are you?"

M: Rylee why is Tyse crying?
R: Because I pinched him, but don’t worry we talked about it.
M: You talked about what?
R: He tried to take my stroller so I pinched him and we talked and he won’t do it again!

Scott was trying to explain something to Rylee, and with as much sarcasm as you can imagine, she said, “Great Dad, I'll remember that."

Just as Scott came home from work, "Dad I'm trying not to be sassy. . . , but I just can't!"

R: A camera and a kitchen

R: How bout I get a kitchen and Tyse can get a camera, and then he can just share with me!!!

After putting on one of my bracelets and combing her hair, Rylee looks in the mirror with one hand over her heart and says, "Breathtaking!"

After Scott threw me Tyse's paci, "Dad, that was not a good choice. We don’t throw things. Can you make better choices please."
