The Young Women in our ward, put on a "Breakfast with Santa." They had pancakes and juice, and then you got to sit on Santa's lap and he would give you a little present. Rylee had been so excited and couldn't wait to tell Santa, what she and Tyse wanted for Christmas. But as you can imagine once she saw him, she didn't want anything to do with him. We finally convinced her to just go over and say hi. So she walked up, shook his hand and said, "Nice to meet you, I want a camera." and then walked away. At least she was polite right!?! I convinced her to go back one more time and just stand by Santa for a picture with Tyse. As long as I didn't let go of her hand, she stood there for a brief moment, and we were able to snap a quick shot. A little later, they did a group shot with a bunch of kids and the young women with Santa. She would have nothing to do with it. Oh well! Tyse on the other hand loved all the attention. We had a great time and are so grateful for all of the hard work that went into a fun morning.
