Christmas

We had a great Christmas this year. On Christmas Eve, we went to my brother Brad's house and had the traditional, Christmas Kempton meal, Mexican food(I didn't even know that there was a traditional Christmas meal until I got married!) We also started a new tradition of a white elephant gift exchange. It was really fun to all be together. Then we went to Scott's parents house where we were just in time for the annual talent show. Rylee did a dance to jingle bells! It has been really fun to see all of the grand kids perform over the years. They have all gotten really good at their various instruments. Christmas morning was probably the best one so far!! Rylee understood about Santa, and actually could tell us what she wanted. The excitement on Christmas morning was priceless. This was Tyse's first Christmas and he loved all the wrapping paper, and loved to watch Rylee get so excited and dance around. We were so lucky to have Scott's parents with us on Christmas morning. They came over early so that they could be there when Rylee woke up. Rylee got exactly what she asked Santa for, a kitchen. She was so cute playing all day. She would set up the food around the house, make a list, and then go grocery shopping. She would make Scott check her out and bag all of her stuff. Then Christmas afternoon we went to dinner at Scott's brother Ken's house. The meal was great and the company even better. We had such a wonderful Christmas, I cant wait for the years to come.

Scott's grandma made his stalking when he was little, then Scott made my stocking a few years ago. He said it wasn't right that I didn't have my own stalking. He wants me to make some for the kids. This was my solution, for this year at least.

Love the post! How do you get the dates to be what you want? I know these weren't here yesterday but like that I could squeeze a few extra posts into last year. Rylee's kitchen is great!
