Rylee goes to the Dentist

I took Rylee to the dentist for the first time today. Just as we were pulling up I said," We're here!" Rylee then asked me, "Is he a boy or is he a girl?" I told her that Dr. Quackenbush was a boy, and then she asked, "Is he a duck... or a quackenbush?" I died laughing. She started laughing too then paused and said, "Well mom what is he?" The rest of the visit went great. She loved that she got to wear sun glasses through out the cleaning, so that the light wouldn't be too bright. She held really still and kept her mouth open really wide. She was really excited about her new Snow White toothbrush, and her toy that she picked from the treasure chest, a magic "laund" (wand). I was so relieved to hear that she didn't have any cavities, and that her teeth were just as they should be. I was so proud of my little girl, and she was proud of herself too. She told everyone she could all about going to the dentist and that Dr. Quackenbush said her teeth were "perfect"!
